NFL Blitz/ NBA Showtime picture scrambling...need help!

Ok... I have an nfl blitz cabinet and when it had blitz 2000 in it the monitor and picture one the screen were fine. I just replaced the board with a nfl blitz nba showtime combo board. Now the sound works, the board powers up, and all the buttons work, but the picture on the screen is scrambled. Im not sure what is going on, i think all the plugs are in the right spot, because you can somewhat make out the picture on the screen (you can tell what its trying to show) but the picture is scrambled....Is the board bad, is something pluggedwrong? I just dont know what the issue is. Need help!

Blitz/Showtime are switchable between standard resolution and medium resolution.  Verify what monitor you have (or check what the old board was set to) and set the new one properly.  Resolution is set via DIP switches.  Check the manual for which switches to move.

No idea what a dip switch is and don't have a manual...but this is also what the KLOV forum members said...so im guessing thats the issue, how do i adjust these.

Never mind...researched dip switches and got the monitor working...but now I have another issue, the joysticks wont work...only the buttons do...so im not really sure whats going on here...as everything seem to be wired ok...

its a 2 player cabinet by the way... not 4...

49-way or 8-way sticks?

There is a DIP switch setting for number of players and type of joystick.  This needs to be set correctly.
