I have no desire to buy one anytime soon, but this is making me reconsider, at least for the future's sake.

I had to pick one of these up.  Microsoft is on an unbelievable Xbox Live Banstreak.  I know six people here, so far, that have been banned...

Are you selling the banned consoles?

My god.... I've been joking about buying a second one for months... I may do it.

Thats exactly what I did my 3 year warranty is going to end next month (my main one just got replaced a couple weeks ago though so the replacement is just fine) but I wanted a fresh 3 year warranty and the HDMI slot. Now I'm selling my old one on craigslist and the offers I've gotten for the old one actually covers more than what I paid for the new one!

Also Amazon matched this price in their lightning deals but they screwed a lot of people (including me) out of the $100 gift card. Apparently you can add it to your cart and check out but if you payed 199.99 instead of 199.98 you wouldn't get the gift card. One of the worst handeled shopping experiences I've had in a while. At least on Woot! selloffs you can't add stuff to the cart if it is sold out. I'm just lucky that I read the forums on Cheapassgamer, think about all the people receiving this in a few days and finding they won't get any gift card! Terrible job Amazon...

From memory, it cost $199 and you received a $100 gift card to Wal-Mart.

I ended up passing, considering that I would need to spend another couple hundred just to get the stuff I would need, unless I hit ebay.
