I am trying to get Marble Madness (MM) to work with .134 MAME. The .134 games list says it works but when I try it it says its missing files. I am using .134 ROMs.

Anyone know a solution to this or have it happen to them?

Thx
Mark

Did you update your roms when you updated mame? If not that's probably your problem.

I'm not sure what OS you're running but if it's windows you can open a DOS window and run mame manually and then you'll be able to see what files are missing or not correct.

I just upgraded to .134 myself. I'll see if MM works on mine and let you know.

Yes I tried the DOS thing mame marble, and it didnt work. Weird . Yours works and mine dosnt.

Maybe the Rom burner didnt give me .134 Roms like he says he did?

How would I check the version of Marble Madness ROM? All my other games work.

Thx

I don't know if you can check it if it won't run. There may be a way but I don't know it. Sorry.

Hey Encryptor I just ran into another game, Indiana Jones, that is saying its missing the same exact files as Marble Madness.

I guess this means the ROM Burner did not really give me .134 roms huh?

Those missing files should be in a file called atarisy1.zip.  You might check and see if it is missing.  That bios was added in version .127u3 if I'm reading MAWS correctly and changed again in version .129.

Let's just say I don't think I would send them any new customers.
