Congratulations again to dstone for winning both sides of the token design contest for the '10 tokens.    

So here's what happens next.  Preorders are open at the ArcadeReplay site.

On the order pages containing Nickel I will ask a question something like "If we don't order nickel would you take brass instead?"  Your choices will be a)yes or b)no, refund my money. Because I spend a lot of money up front on the tokens, I charge the full price up front for pre-orders.  There is too much at risk for me to accept less.  I realize this isn't ideal, but it's how I do it.

Once orders have been open for a few weeks I make a decision if there are enough orders to proceed with either 1) 10,000 Brass or 2) 10,000 brass and 10,000 nickel, or 3) None of the above.  If I am able to at least break even on the original order, I will place the order.

If we only have enough demand to order 10,000 brass, the people who indicated they would not accept brass instead of nickel will get paypal refunds.

If don't have enough demand for even 10,000 brass, I will contact the people who preordered to see if they are interested in higher 5000 lot pricing.  If there are enough yes responses we will do that.  Else - no tokens and everyone gets a refund.

How much are the tokens and what would postage be to the UK for say, 100 tokens? I am looking to order this time though not sure how many. Maybe all UK orders could be sent together to 1 person to save postage/customs then redistributed as necessary at cheaper UK rates?

I ship using USPS Flat Rate boxes.  They are relatively inexpensive, but it varies by country.  I think the website should be up tonight so you can do a dry run to see what the shipping will be.

The tokens will $43.99 for 200, and I offer minimum lots of 200 until the next year's tokens come out.  I realize this is expensive for some, but this is driven by the costs from the mint.  I have actually lowered my price by 3$ from last time despite price increases from the mint.

Considering the trouble you go to, and after just placing my pre-order, I think it's fantastic value when you consider I remember many games costing 20p a game through the mid-80's.

For other UK buyers who are interested, the 200 token minimum order including international postage comes to just over £35, so works out at about 18p per token. As the package value is under £35 (it's actually about £26 at the current exchange rate) and under a certain size/weight, (as is my understanding from years of overseas buying) it is unlikely to be randomly selected for a VAT check but remember to factor in a possible 15% VAT charge and Royal Mail handling fee. This would make the total around £45 by the time you get it, or around 23p per token.

Only issue I had at the storefront was it wouldnt let me change my address, so I had to make a new account.
