There are a couple of new ps1/ps2 to xbox convertors available now that seem to work alot better than the xfps or mayflash shooter one.  Better yet they alot cheaper..... I picked the Xconvertor 360 up from http://www.renchi.com/renchi/Xbox_360_Accessories_XConverter_360.htm for 24.95 and have been playing sf4 lag free with a ps1 hacked pad.  Like the others you have to have a wired controller plugged in when you start the 360, but after it reads it you can remove it.  Several others have picked up this was as you can grab it off ebay for 9.99, and have had similar posetive results - http://www.superufo.com/product_html/Xbox_1___360_PS2_controller_to_XBOX_360_converter.html

Anyway like I said I have not issues with it at all, and plan to buy another one soon.  Check out the shoryuken forums for some more reviews.....

Thanks for the link. I've been looking for an adaptor that will run a Cobalt Flux dance pad and also a guitar controller.

Quick question, won't the simple ps2 to usb dongle that works for using ps2 pads on pc work the same on the xbox 360 usb port?
I already have a couple of those around and it would be cool to use them on arcade joysticks for my kid.

Thanks, ARCADIAC!

No, while the Xbox 360 uses USB ports, the Xbox 360 controllers are not generic USB game pads.  (USB game pads and generic PS->USB adaptors DO work on the PS3).  The Xbox 360 protocols are propritary and there's encryption between the controller and the system.  Currently only Mad Catz and a few other companies have been given permission and access to construct third party controllers for the Xbox 360.  MS strictly controls the third party accessories now for quality control.  This is why these converts need a standard controller plugged in first, to bypass part of the authentication.

This is why to use an Xbox 360 controller on a PC it doesn't use the same driver as a normal USB Controller.

I just bought two of the Blazepros off Ebay really cheap.  I don't even have a 360 yet, but I figure I might want to hook one up to my Quasicade someday.

Are these Blazepros different?  Do you have a link to them?  Thanks.

I meant a link to the eBay Seller you bought yours from.  I searched eBay, but couldn't find any Blazepro adapters.  Thanks.

I'm still waiting to get mine, plus I don't have a 360 yet (maybe I'll pick one up this holiday).  It was reported on shoryuken that there is no lag.

I just tested the adapter today.  I didn't notice any lag, but it only worked on my Street Fighter Anniversary stick.  Unfortunately, it didn't work on my Quasicon arcade stick.  Censored
