Took me six years, but I ran out of cam locks.  So I'm looking to get a big order again.

For those of you who ordered from me before, it'll be the same number key as before.

For those who haven't: these are quality Illinois Lock Company brand locks.  double bitted key 1382.

I get them in both 7/8" and 1 1/8" lengths.

And I'll have to find out about price, but I suspect they'll be the same as the last batch I offered: $3.00 each for double.

Actually, no; that's a good question.  5/8" maybe?

Just bumping for interest.  These locks are for coin doors and back doors (or whatever you want, really, but in this hobby these are the most common use).

I probably need 5 or 6 myself, just replacing locks without keys on stuff I bought at auction.  (If it fits what I have, that is).

Nintendo tables use 5/8" long locks. Keyed alike to key #K6510 Ace style.

I need:
3 for Punch-Out
2 for Ms. Pac
3 for 720

I haven't checked yet, but does anyone know a common list of sizes for machines?

Over/under coin doors: 7/8" top and bottom.
Midway style coin doors: 1 1/8"
Williams/Asteroids style coin door: 7/8"

Back doors are usually 7/8" (I think).

When I have enough people interested to make it worth my while.

And, unlike prior "pre-orders" I'm going to ask for money up front.   Last pre-order thing I did I got saddled with a bunch of extra stuff because  half the people who wanted stuff flaked on me.

No money yet, though; I would like an interest in at LEAST 100 locks.

It's been a year.  I'm trying this again from scratch - anyone need locks?

At this moment in time the prices are:

$3.00 each for double bitted, keyed alike locks.

And for anyone that's bought from me before, it'll be the same key.

It's a preorder.  So multiply the number of locks by $3.00.  And you'll have to specify length.

As for the shipping cost, I'd like to keep it as low as humanly possible, so I'm going to try USPS 1st class.  Shouldn't be more then three bucks or so.  Locks are heavy.

Single bitted key 700 and double bitted key 1382.

Dumb question....What is "bitted"?

I'm interested...

I need one for the back door on my Midway cab, SirPeale.

Keyless would be cool, but if not available, no worries.

I'm interested...

Single bitted has teeth on one side of the key, double on both sides.

And I'm pretty sure I'm only doing double.  It's not worth the trouble of keeping both around for home use.

I need one for the back door on my Midway cab, SirPeale.

Keyless would be cool, but if not available, no worries.

Wouldn't be keyless, no.  Only the one?

I it helps you make your numbers, count me in for 5 or so. I don't actually need them now but I got some from you last time and I like having them all on the same key.

If there's teeth on both sides of the key then it's double.

No set deadline, and I'm going to get extras on top of what people want here.  A week tops, I think.  It all depends on how quickly people get their money to me after I start asking for it.

I am suprised that DiveMaster isn't involved in this. I will eventually need cam locks (only 2 of the longer sort) but ATM I don't need them. Have you hit up DM on this? There will always be a market here for cam locks, and I could see him buying a good 50 or so and reselling them for less than the "normal" prices I have seen and still make a profit. (And the "normally" priced ones I have seen go for 7 bucks and do not offer matching keys... :<)

EDIT: When I say "not offer matching keys" I mean they have only lock per lock matching keys, not a series of locks that work with a series of keys...

I don't think DM has these locks.  These are Illinois Lock Company brand locks.

The good news: I think the price is going to come down a wee bit.  I'll know more when I can get a finalized amount.

Oh sorry, 7/8" for all 5, I'm pretty sure I can use the 7/8" for the back door (it doesn't have a hole yet) and the other two are meant to be extras.
