Ordered some books on reverse engineering last month... got this email this morning.  Best guess as to exactly what led to Project Arcade being in the list is that one of the books I have recently ordered was also an Extreme Tech book.

If Amazon said so, you have to buy.

I bought my copy long ago - at an actual retail store (Barnes and Noble, IIRC).

FWIW, saint, I've read other Extreme Tech books.  Yours is much better than many of the others.  Far more actually useful info and a lot less filler fluff.

I bought my copy last week. At the time of the purchase Amazon offered me the opportunity to read it on-line for an additional $5.95 or something like that. That's the cost of two push buttons. I chose to wait for the books arrival.

I have read it cover to cover twice already. Each time I focus on something different which will no doubt increase the over all cost of my project.

I am getting close to beginning the project.
