Will this computer work for mame.

I reciently got a free computer which yes its older I still was happy to take it.
It's a AMD K2 500 I believe.  Is this going to be enough to run mame?
Also Is it going to allow me to put a 400GB hard drive in there and still run?

I'm not sure, but I do know that you will have much better luck in the main forum as this one is for questions about a specific make of mame that is hardly ever looked at.
