First off, thanks so much Calamity for all the work you have done to make your drivers work on newer OS's!

I decided to finally try to update my OS thanks to Steam disabling their client on Windows XP.
I have Win10 up and running, an ATI HD 4870, and started following this guide: http://geedorah.com/eiusdemmodi/forum/viewtopic.php?pid=1016#p1016 and have a few questions:

- Because the D9400 supports 800x600/38khz resolutions and I have Win10 desktop set to 800x600, is it possible to perform the install with only one monitor (and not select the "Extend desktop automatically on display restart" checkbox in the Video tab)?

- When I selected the D9400 in VMMaker and generated modelines, I did not see any 800x600 modes generated...just these:
Reducing mode list...
 0 video modes dropped.
 24 modelines generated.
"256x224_60 15.30KHz 60.00Hz" 5.02 256 272 296 328 224 232 235 255 -hsync -vsync

I want to make sure when I reboot that I don't lose 800x600 (I didn't install the modes yet for this reason).  Is there any way to add that one?

Thanks again to Calamity! :notworthy:

Thought I would answer this in case someone searches this -- Calamity helped me out on the other forums:
http://geedorah.com/eiusdemmodi/forum/viewtopic.php?id=414

Basically was able to install without 2nd monitor and just had to add the 800x600 line below to the user modes and super modes ini files before generating modes:

## Desktop ##

 640 x 480 @ 30.000000 desktop
 800 x 600 @ 60.000000 desktop

I know the D9400 support 1024x768 interlaced at 30. How can I get VMMaker to create this? it only creates a modeline for 1024x600 after editing the user.ini file.

I answered you in monitor presets thread.
Important note: posts reporting GM issues without a log will be IGNORED.
