Alrighty...I've not been paying much attention these last months... has Andy released an AIMTRACK COMPLETE solution yet?

Shell is $44, 'guts' are $44...so....$88 plus shipping, complete :)

Boo... I (and many others) have been waiting for a plug-n-play option for a LONG time now...

They are aimtraks in other housings.

Divemaster, a member here, also sells them fully assembled in the Aimtrak housings that ultimarc sells.
But they aren't listed on his website and I don't know what he charges for them.

THANKS!

Did you (or anyone else) get the arcadeguns.com guns?

I'd be interested in a review by an established BYOAC member.
The reviews on their website seem cherry picked or written by friends.

I'm telling ya.  It takes about 15 minutes to assemble the gun, where as it will take about 5 times that to get the PCB mounted over your monitor.  What Andy is selling is more or less a complete option.

If you don't have the time to do the assembly, you aren't going to want to spend hours installing the board and configuring your emulators to use it correctly.  Assembly is trivial.  Installation and configuration is very much not.

I'm asking out of curiosity about what people think of them.
It has nothing to do with having to assemble them.
Not everyone wants the Guncon look and it's nice to have options.
If I did buy one, the first thing I would do is tear it apart, get rid of the lower button and try to fit a recoil solenoid in that area.

I also priced out parts from suzo-happ to build a recoil gun with all new parts.
It came up to around $85, not including the aim-trak. (and what happens if they backorder 1 part and I'm left with an unfinished gun?)
Since P2 don't work on M2 & Demul anyway, I was thinking about just going with one gun and spending extra on recoil.

I've been using act labs ray guns (which I don't like the look of) for the past year and have them configured to work with everything just fine.
I've just had the urge to tinker with the aim-traks & recoil.
