Title: Best way to attach removable control panel?
Post by: gdilly on February 02, 2010, 08:05:37 pm
I have a large 4-player contol panel that I sometimes need to remove and then reattach.  I am currently just using large screws to reattach the cp and have found this to be very cumbersome.  I've been searching through the older posts regarding this but all the links/pictures for solutions are dead.

Does anyone have any solution for good way to attach the panel that will be easy to remove/reattach and will still be sturdy?

Use cocktail clips or latches.  http://www.arcadeshop.com/parts.htm. (http://www.arcadeshop.com/parts.htm.)  Do a "find" for latch.

Tension latches are very convenient, once installed.  If you cannot fit such latches to your design, you may be able to utilize giro-bolts (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=70598.msg741441#msg741441) as I did.
