Title: Silly led wiz 2 of the same button type question
Post by: RobbyMac on January 31, 2010, 11:45:16 pm
I have 2 p1 fire buttons. One on p1, another next to my spinner.
I have exactly 32 leds lit, and can't see getting another led wiz for one button.
I noticed in the led blinky that I cannot setup 2 leds for the same input.

Is it possible to run two leds to one led wiz output? I mean can I run two leds parallel, grounding back to one led whiz output (specd p1 b1)? (Naturally Id have resistors on each led). I'm using the pc power supply for 5v. the leds are 3.2v each

You can definitely wire multiple LEDs to the same port (max 500ma).

Also - LEDBlinky can use the same input code for multiple ports - but if you always want the LEDs to light up together, it makes more sense to wire them in parallel and not waste the extra port.
