I'm about to pickup a dedicated KI2 cab. I'm thinking that the monitor is a WG K7000, 25", but I could be wrong. I don't have access to open the back to look at it. The guy sent me some pics of the screen and they just seem "off" to me. They look a little too red and need some degaussing. Would this be and easy, inexpensive fix?

That's a good looking monitor... a little pot tweaking is all that needs.
-
Man, I really hope so. I just added another pic of the gameplay. You can see at the top where is needs some degaussing.
-
Top where? I don't see it.
-
Top right. The life bar is kind of green. It's there, I've seen it in person. The screen looked a lot worse than it does in the pictures when I saw it in person. That may have been because it hasn't been powered up for a while.
-
Ahh, Ok, I see it now. Yup, looks like it needs a degaussing.
My WG 25" has a degaussing button, but I have a replacement Wei Ya chassis. I'm not sure what the original chassis had (or if that still has the original in it).

I'm hoping that it has a button. Like I said, I haven't opened the back to look yet. I read somewhere that you can take another monitor that degausses automatically when you turn it on an hold it close to the one that needs it and that should work. Hell, it's worth a shot right?

There are degaussing wands available as well, so it should definitely be a pretty easy fix.

I think most of the stock KI came with hantarex polo's, without seeing inside it could be anything in there.
