Title: Side Art peeling
Post by: Trebeck on January 28, 2010, 10:40:26 pm
Hey all,

I was wondering  the best way to tackle my peeling side art.  I've looked at spray-on adhesives but they all say either don't use on vinyl or the don't mention it at all.  I don't want to ruin it so what do you all think I should do?   ???

Thanks!

How bad is the peeling? My side art was peeling/curling around the edges and I couldn't find any help , I ended up using superglue with small applicator tip to lick the underside and pushed it down...I had to work fast and be very light with the glue...took my fingers and pressed down to makes sure everything was level...I haven't had a problem since...

Well if I smooth it back on it will stay for about 2 days then peels again.
Superglue huh?  I have no biased toward any product as long as it doesn't eat my material.  I have a spray on adhesive I wanted to use (Elmers?) but it says on the back not to use on vinyl.

Trebeck-

Use this guide to determine the best glue to attach one material to another (you gotta scroll down a little on the site).
