I have recently converted an old midway bally cab (pacman) to MAME. Im getting a new panel (same dimensions as the old one) made out of steel. I was wondering...what if I want a CPO do they have sticky backing? or would I have to somehow mount plexi/lexan on the top of my metal cp? I know the old pac man CPO's are just stick on and the metal was powder coated. But I would prefer a mame themed cpo.
thanks for the input!

Mamemarquees' CPOs have adhesive backing.

are they sturdy enough that I wouldn't have to worry about wear?

I would use Plexiglas it is way more durable and you can change your control panel overlay with no problems in the future.
The screw-in pushbuttons would hold down the Plexiglas so no need for corner screws. Also if using IL / Happ style sticks the carriage bolts would hold the Plexiglas also.

Plexiglas on a Pac-man cab? Yuck.

From the sound of it he is turning it into a MAME cabinet.
