What is the preferred Mame application and Frontend?

I am building a mame cab and would like some input.

There is really no "best" thing for everyone.  It's like buying a car.  It's kind of silly to ask what the best is.  Here's your question rephrased:  "What is the preferred Car Model and Car Insurance?".  Everyone has different tastes and it really depends on what you want to do.
