Title: Best wii gun cntroller/ buckshot shotgun ?
Post by: rlemmon on January 19, 2010, 07:07:26 am
Hi guys, I just picked up house of the dead 2 and 3 return and house of the dead over kill for wii. I also grabbed a perfect shot too. I'm not to impressed with the perfect shot. The wii remote is hard to get in and the thing just looks and feels really cheap.  I want something that is better made.

Has anyone tried the buckshot shotgun? It looks pretty decent and is made of metal and has a built in directional controller.

Any thoughts ?

Now if you were an Aussie, you could pick up a set of these (",)

I have this set, and the guns are great, but bloody heavy on the wrists if you are Dirty Harry. If you are FBI you are fine  ;D

Good thing about them is you don't have to take the strap off. I'm also curious about the buckshot...

edit: oh, and having only just unlocked the AMS hand cannon in directors cut, its pretty cool to see your gun on the screen when you reload  :)

Dang, those hand cannons are almost EXACTLY the shell I've been looking for to go with my cab.  :o

Looks like that was released back last year, but I'm not having much luck finding anything like it on sale.

Bookmarking that package!

Hmm, well I found 2 packages from Newzealand, must be a limited release thing at this point.

Plus they're about 80$au

And all I want are the guns  :(

Oh well, that can wait a little while longer

I saw a boxed set, minus the disk, at Cash Converters the other week. Was only $12. You can guess how it came to be that there is a boxed set minus the disk (it even still had the case) in a pawnbrokers  ;)

That'd be perfect. Don't really care about the game anyway. just the gun shells.  :)

I'll keep looking.

I bought the hand cannons off of eBay.  Last I checked, there were quite a few of them for sale by different individuals/stores.  Took almost 4 weeks to get here from the UK, but I finally got em.   Came to around 35USD after it was all said and done for two of them.  They are REAL nice.

It's nice for a change for the PAL territories to have something the rest of the world wants  :)

I have two Buckshots and I gotta say they're the best so far. Feels weighty and powerful. Pump-action reload for the A button, trigger for the B button. Nunchuck built in. The only thing is no D-pad or +- minus/home button access. Not a problem when using in tandem with a pistol that has these buttons exposed. (ex.Perfect Shot)

That set looks very cool.  I know what I will be importing if I ever need a Wii gun.  Thanks for sharing.
