Title: WG D9800 - OSD settings not saved?
Post by: dekar24k on January 17, 2010, 07:29:49 am
Sorry for all the questions lately and also if this has been brought up before, but my WG D9800 doesn't seem to save it's settings?

A couple of days ago I went through every single MAME resolution and adjusted the screen accordingly, but I just tested a couple of different games and several of them were completely off-set, so I had to re-adjust the monitor.

Isn't the WG D9800 supposed to save individual adjustments to every resolution automatically?

No problems with settings saving on mine, although sometimes it gets confusing because I'll tweak a certain resolution for one game and then switch to a different game that uses that same resolution and it won't look quite right, so I tweak for that game and then the first game doesn't look quite right.  Mostly this happens when going between a fullscreen game and a vertical game that I have set up to share the same resolution.

Eventually, I stopped worrying about making every single game perfect and now I sleep much better :).

Hmm, sounds quite like my "problem". I tweak a few different resolutions, then I try some "new" games (although they use the same res) and they aren't correctly centered etc. Maybe I just have to live with it then. ;) Thanks for the reply!
