Post by: abispac on January 17, 2010, 12:17:42 am
Hey guys, im looking to build afruit machine? im tempted to build one just for fun, i search on thenet for some info and so far i found a couple of websites and found some info on MFME, but it seems that it emulates the whole machine, and i would like something more mame alike, what  i try to say im looking for a fruit emu that displays only the screen so i can build the cab and have a nice fruit machine, even maybe i can implement a mechanisim for coins (not to charge just for fun) . So any help would be apreciated. thanks

You may try searching under slot machines as that's what they are called in the States.  Your searches may yield different/more results with that phrase.  I found a couple of things in the first few hits via Google with that.

im in the states as well, and sloth machine emulation on google takes me to the fruit machines stuff wich i find emalated but with the butons on screen, not like the real thing , like mame. seems that that kind of emulation its diferent.

I've tinkered (very little I must admit) with the fruit machine emulators without success.  Many of them were windowed so I decided to scrap the idea of having them on my arcade machine.  But I do know there are emulators out there.
