Title: Auto-Printable News
Post by: protokatie on January 15, 2010, 02:05:29 am
Ok, as per my diet I need to actually eat breaky. And of course I would need something to read... Might as well be some basic news. Does anyone know of a news site I could point my scheduled printing towards that would give 2 pages of news? And what I do mean are article abstracts, not headlines, as I would need to read more than just the first paragraph.
Also, if not the news, anything else that would work for this idea?

And no, I am not going to bother with a newspaper subscription...

Ideas?

Eat in front of the computer and CNN?  Or the TV and CNN?

Why waste paper & ink?

True.

FWIW...  I don't watch the news on TV.  I skim CNN.com and Yahoo news mostly.

And anyway... my point was...  watch your news program of choice on TV or browse your news website of choice, rather than wasting resources for 2 pages of news a day.

You're probably better off with your actual local newspaper anyway.

Ahh good, PBJ, thats exactly what I am looking for. As per paperwaste, maybe another option would be to find a news site that auto streams the news read aloud... Meh...

Not exactly what the OP was asking about, but I got a Sony Reader Daily Edition - sony's ebook reader that has a 3g card and the ability to subscribe to newspapers in a digital format.  Super teh kewl if you don't want the hassle of a daily delivery, but you want the daily print news in a portable format.
