Title: Hantarex MTC 9000 keeps blowing resistor

My 25" Hantarex keeps blowing resistor R94 which from all my research means the vertical deflection chip is gone so I replaced the resistor and chip(TDA 1670A) it worked for about 30 seconds then blew the resistor again and the chip as well cuz now it is shorted internally. Anybody have some advice/pointers so I can get this monitor going again?

make sure d18 isn't shorted or leaky.


other common vert failures are c9,d5,c14/15
also check c38
not so common r36, c11
