hi thanks for coming back, well i have been using mame gui with mamewah and changed over to maximus arcade setup which i have been using for about six months. my machine i have had for about a year which is a sega fighting viper cabinet with a pc unit inside it started playing up a couple of months ago and i havent had the chance to try do anything about it. when i switch it on its saying there is a rolling message that says system error or corrupt which i can except is probably a hard drive problem and i need to change, since then i have tried to even get it started like it use to and im not much joy and i need to get it sorted if possible..
-
probably sort this on forum tbh,
so atm you have replaced the hdd but its still not working?
-
well i had changed it but since then it hasnt worked but i did put the sata hard drive into another system and installed windows xp and mame gui etc and then installed it back into the machine but now im not getting any response from the motherboard and im thinking it might be the power supply which i have bought another one of as well.
-
yeah sounds like psu,did you reinstall 15k soft or do you use a avga card or jpac btw?
-
Well I never reinstalled the 15htz software to convert to the monitor but the reason I done this is because I bought a arcade VGA card from ultimarc and I thought I wouldn't need to. Would it possible to actually speak to you instead of emails?
-
also the power supply i changed from a 370 watt to a 500 watt supply, would that do anything to my problem?
