That's pretty cool but I won't be buying one.  I have all of the N64 games worth owning (and too many that aren't).

Damn. I've gotten too used to all these cheaper ones, like GBA and DS, so I wasn't expecting that price tag in this day and age.

$199.00 is steep. I think you can buy almost all the N64 games together for less.

First party N64 games still run $10-15 each.  Those are the ones most worth having.

Yeah, you can buy all the good games you want and have the actual cartridge and it would still be cheaper than buying this thing.

Looks like a good dev tool, though.

Wow.

I don't think I spent that much on my Z64 back in the day. That is definitely expensive.

Any idea as to how many games this will hold?

Not that this matters at all, but if you were to buy just Paper Mario and Conkers Bad Fur day, you'd have spent about half your budget...

I was amazed to discover there is a little bit of a home brew scene for N64.If i had a stack of money, i'd get a team together to make some good shmups  :)

Conker's BFD? I've owned it since it came out. Hmmmm.....

Man, why is it that everything that I own that's actually worth something turns out to be something I don't want to part with? (Other than Sega Saturn's Dragon Force, which I sent to Malenko for free, and Nights w/analog controller, which I sold for $30 to newkillergenius )

I've been waiting for something like this, but like Red posted above, I'd like to know how many games this will hold. 199.99 isn't too expensive, provided you could fit at least 20 games onto one cart, instead of flashing the cart over and over again to load every game you want to play. I've been eyeing this: http://www.retrousb.com/product_info.php?cPath=24&products_id=34&osCsid=6df5b4626de09c87510a4447a6a7a7ad (http://www.retrousb.com/product_info.php?cPath=24&products_id=34&osCsid=6df5b4626de09c87510a4447a6a7a7ad) for my NES for a while now, simply because all I have to do is copy the games onto one CF card, then forget about ever worrying what games I've loaded onto it - I just power the NES on and play.

Other than Sega Saturn's Dragon Force, which I sent to Malenko for free.......

And I was playingit last night, I love that game. I regret giving my FFII and FFIII for SNES to my cousin, I had them mint in box and apparently they are actually worth something (and 3 was such a great game!) he pretty much destroyed the manuals, boxes and posters :/

conkers goes from 20-99 (hilarious) and paper mario from 11-35 (not including the recockulously priced sealed one for $112)  Anyways, I think my point was you can get the games worth getting cheaper then the flash cart, but yeah itd be cool for homebrew despite the lack of demand and over inflated price.

Arent most of the N64 games available for like $5 on the Wii emulation channel?

Which emu are you using? The only one I saw was so slow, the games were unplayable.

Ha, ha.
The promise of Robotech
was one of the reasons I
got an N64.

Oh, well.
The one on X-box
was pretty fun.

Just using VC games and injected wads. No homebrew emus.

Gotcha; I haven't gotten too much into using WADs for the games, as I found the emulation path first. I do have the new Contra, though, so I'll have to look into the N64 stuff...

I've been using Triiforce for a lot of it, running an emulated NAND, but several games don't want to work. (Have all the patched IOSes installed)
The ones that don't work, I just install to the system when I'm playing them. (Which I don't like doing because I don't want to wear out the NAND)

Looks pretty sweet, but I'll have to get a new flash card before I can try it out - my original 2GB has all my 8/16 bit games on it, and this new 4GB one I have isn't recog. by my Wii. Thanks for the heads up!

I'm using an 8GB thumb drive in the USB port for it

Injected VC wads are great for N64. Wii emulation kind of annoys me. Not to sound too much like Chad here, BUUUUUUUTTTTTT.......

Yes, there is a delay in the emulators, and it's VERY noticable. Speed runs in mario for SNES or GameBoy? NOT A CHANCE! it's like a 50ms delay between button push and jump! I could MAYBE tolerate it for an RPG, but that's about it.

The nice part about the injected wads, is that the emulators are made by nintendo themselves. Some games run perfect, others... not so much. Super Smash Bros works great though! I think GBATemp's wiki has a compatibility list for wad injections (http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/index.php?title=VCInjections_Compatiblity_List).

As for the N64 flash cart, it's 199 for the adaptor, and you'll still have to buy a neo flash cart for GBA to load your N64 roms on. I'm pretty certain there's an SNES version that operates in the same way.

Yes, all of the emulators I've tried have TERRIBLE lag in the button presses. The VC stuff runs great. (I noticed Super Mairo Bros 2 actually has the correct colors, which I've never seen any other emulator be able to do. It's most noticeable on Mario himself.)

this might have been awesome and worth the $200 price tag like 10 years ago.

Yup holds only ONE rom at a time >:D. With a $200 price tag seems like you can put all roms on one cart and select game :dunno

I think its a girl who makes them over there. When you watch the videos on how to do whatever. Its a girl

I'm not too sure, the creator goes by the name "bunnyboy" on other forums where he has debuted his products. It could just be a girl they used for the videos, as she's probably more pleasing to the eye.
