Title: Arcade Centipede Help

Can anyone tell me how to fix my centipede game.

Everything seems fine except for.... when the screen comes up at boot and during game play, there is only (1) vertical column of the mushroom things....when you destroy enough then the guy that drops more drops a solid column on the opposite side of the screen?

My best guess is it sounds like a bad board. Not much else is going to make the game itself behave strangely. A Centipede board shouldn't be too hard to come by, though.
