Just a little note of gratitude to Andy for the inclusion of the self-test LED on the I-PAC (in my case, an I-PAC4).
After messing with some switches, I kept getting an annoying error on my Dell at the BIOS portion of startup, indicating a PS/2 keyboard failure. I occasionally got this when my rubber keyboard was rolled up & in the coin box & a key was inadvertently being held down. Not so this time...
I tried tracking down my problem by testing for continuity on my switches & thought I'd checked all that I'd worked on.
I dug up the manual on the I-PAC & followed the blinking lights & found 1 more switch that I hadn't marked as modded & it was the culprit.
Wow, thanks for the self-test LED--that was a great idea to minimize future customer service calls!
:notworthy:
OK, now back to some actual gaming!
