Title: How to play joystick 2 in O2Em?
Post by: Blanka on December 27, 2009, 06:45:19 am
Just installed Videopac emulator O2Em (bannisters mac version) after playing the real Videopacs at a good retro party at the Effenaar, but I cannot get Joystick 2 to work. There is no key-mapping window like in bannisters other emulators. Guess it has to do with the fact that the VideoPac had a qwerty keyboard, so the normal MiniPac keyboard mapping is not handy for working with a Videopac. Does anybody know if J2 is mapped to some standard 101 keyboard keys?

I don't have a bios or roms so I cannot confirm on my MacBook but the default source lists as follows.

Controls:

    Arrow keys + L = Default joystick 1 emulation

    W,D,S,A + Space  = Default joystick 2 emulation

    ESC/F12 = Leave the emulator

    F1  = Pause/Information

    F2  = Save State-File

    F3  = Load State-File

    F4  = Enter debugger

    F5  = Reset emulator (same as pressing the reset on the O2 keyboard)

    F6  = Inject Highscore

    F8  = Make a screen shot

    Caps Lock = Enables/Disables the O2 keyboard input of the keys used by
    joystick emulation

Caps-lock does not seem to work on a mac. It keeps using the ASDW buttons as typing keys, not as joystick.
