It's one of the best Data East games, and a bonus if you love GNR's music.

Yeah I was born in 79 so GNR was at its coolest when I was young & impressionable (Before I knew what "mr brownstone" meant:-) so its dear to my childhood.

Best DE? Good to hear, for some reason I am a DE fan (one of the few)

Yeah, good game, mega bonus if you're a GnR fan.  IMO overpriced and those ramps are a problem.  I'd love to have one and probably would if I came across one a few hundred under usual market value.

I do wish the sound bites were better than they are.  They aren't very good.  If they were anywhere near as good as the sound bites on BttF this would be a muuuuuch better game.

I only played GnR once at an auction.  It definately didn't wow me.  Maybe I had too high expectations for it from what I have read.  I did want to like it as I do like DE and the theme.  For me, I can think of many other machines I would like to have for that price.

Was it you that was really looking for a TSPP?  If so, are you giving up on TSPP for GnR?

I would take a TSPP any day before GNR. I have a TSPP, and I keep it at my parent's house. It really makes me want to visit quite often. :D
