Hi, I have a touchscreen monitor I use for different things like games and jukebox apps. Many of the games and apps don't have sounds that are played when you touch buttons on the screen. My question is can I somehow program windows to play a sound or sound file everytime I click the mouse button or touch the screen. It would be way cooler to hear a sound when touching the screen to activate a button in some game or app that doesn't have button sounds programmed in the app itself. Thanks

Some touchscreen drivers (ex: Elo) have this capability built in.
Look in the control panel to see if a touch screen setup was added when the touch screen software was installed.

I do have software drivers installed for my touchscreen which is a 3M M150. However, the option for sound when touching the monitor is a loud beep from my computer like the one during POST. Its very annoying. I was wondering if there is any software that can play sounds during mouse clicks or someway to trick windows into playing sounds while touching the monitor.

I looked on 3M's website and and looked at a PDF of their driver/software and it shows a software control panel and how to turn the beep off. Have you tried re-intstalling the drivers ? Maybe the control panel just didn't install right? Here is a link to their driver section 3M'S Drivers (http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3M/en_US/TouchSystems/TouchScreen/CustomerSupport/TouchScreenDrivers/) .I chose Vista for the OS and clicked on"
MT 7 Software Users Guide" and it showed info. on the control panel software .

Go into the Control Panel and Sounds. See if you can select a different sound instead of the one that's being used. You should be able to change it to a variety of things.
