Title: wiring LEDs in electric ice buttons
Post by: ItchyD on December 17, 2009, 07:46:20 am
Ok so how does everyone manage this?  The way the button is built you have to bend the legs of the LED 90 degrees out to the side to start, then get the resistor on then attatch them to the wire.  That is alot of fiddling with a very fine LED anode and I broke a couple already.  What's the easiest way to wire these?

Wikki Instructions (http://wiki.arcadecontrols.com/wiki/Lighting_Microswitch_Buttons)

If your leads are breaking you may be bending them too close to the LED.
