Title: Playchoice arcade for 350 $ Worth it ??
Post by: Crabboy on December 15, 2009, 09:08:02 pm: I met this guy who had a playchoice in garage, Doesnt make use of it at all. But wants 350 for it.
Yes it was IMMACULATE !!!!!!
But 350 for Nintendo games? The games were common very common. I think it was missing 1 but other than that. I told him I would think about 350 I told him 260 and he wanted 280..
Very good condition cabinet and monitor. It jumped a lil when you would bump it, suggesting the games or a cord is coming loose. But other than that. It was SAWEET. But 280 ?
Hes holding on 280...

Any suggestions?
BTW the playchoice 10 was made in 1990. Does this qualify for a classic arcade ???

and at $280 ...isnt so bad...

Other than stop the timer , or find a way to add credits without quarters..

I PURCHASED IT this morning !!! He still had it. He wasnt budging ! Plus I couldnt help It was in good condition. It was a B getting it off my lil truck.

I called it a PLAYCHOICE 9 , cause the guy had only 9 games in it. Ill be looking at other games .
What ya think ? I am stoked....The bezel is a tinted glass.It looks very nice that way.
Also I didnt realize that Nintendo started making the cabinets by cut design. Donkey kong and other are different wood. This is particle board. It is heavy, no doubt. I used the curb plants to cushion it as you see. All of my neighbors are at work. Plus I gotta go to work, iI cant be driving with this in the back. Plus how am I gonna explain another Arcade to my gf ????? :angel:

The guy won't get back to me with pictures and more details on the Playchoice countertops. I don't think he wants my money :(

I'm pretty sure he was just congratulating the guy on the upright cabinet. How much are you looking to get for each countertop, so I know it's at least reasonable. I live close to you so if the price is right, I can take one off your hands.
