Title: Green Beret on Mame: the game runs with 60/30 FPS.
Post by: mark_navigator on December 15, 2009, 12:58:36 pm
Hi,

I'm not able to get Green Beret playing with normal speed: the game runs with 200% of FPS (60/30FPS) and I'm not able to decrease it up to 100% FPS (30/30 FPS).
Can someone help me to solve this annoying trouble?
Thank you.

You are using an older version of MAME which has the FPS display instead of speed % .. placing your MAME at 0.113 or earlier.
Anyway, your correction is quite simple,  you only need shut off your (-syncrefresh).  The game is syncing the gameplay to the refresh rate of the monitor (presumably, 60 fps) - so your gameplay speed is scaled up to 200% to match.
