Panic is a software developer that was definitely not around in the 80s.  So the blog entry is joking about what their titles would have been like if released on the 2600. Transmit is an FTP client. Unison is peer to peer file sharing software etc...

  That is pretty slick graphic work, takes me back to my EG magazine buying days.
