Title: SK Jukebox - is there way to shutdown using ONLY touchscreen?
Post by: slapaham on December 10, 2009, 07:02:07 pm
Loving my touchscreen juke and I have it set up nicely with instantsheller hiding all the 'backroom operators'... however, it would be nice to have the option of shutting it down by using some kind of touchscreen prompt... the only ways currently to exit the program are by holding the power button on the tower for a second or two (most seamless way of doing it) or plugging a mouse upto it and right-slicking 'exit'...

is it possible to program SK to do this in some shape or form? ???

I am running sk on my personal juke. I just tapped into the power button on the computer and use an arcade button on the cabinet.
I am using windows xp, so one press of the button and she shuts down. Same with power up.

Yeah, I've decided after testrunning it, pressing the button on the tower is quite seamless anyway! :) Quite please with the set-up now... I guess had there been an option on screen some tool would have pressed it, cocking the whole thing up and having to reboot it... ::)

i bought a infra red PC remote for mine from eBay and you can skip tracks , vol up and down power off etc fully customisable by using key remapping feature in SK jukebox
