It was been forever since I first install 3DO, but I thought I should mention that I got it working with freedo 1.7wip and it seemed ok at the time.

Yeah I actually used freedo 1_6_2.

Below are some of my notes regarding 3DO.   Not sure if you need to do all of these or not ... it has been too long:

1) Unzip the "freedo_1_6_2.zip" into a freedo install directory
2) Unzip the "FreeDo17WIP.rar" into the freedo install directory (replacing the EXE)
3) Unzip the "jcrouse-3do-wrapper(freedoV1.7WIP).zip" file contents into the freedo install directory

Also do this:

- Start the "D:\Emulators\Programs\freedo\FreeDO.exe" application and select
the "File\Select Bios" menu option and then enter the file name of
  "D:\Emulators\Programs\freedo\fz10_rom.bin".  For some reason this
association is not maintained and must be performed manually.

- Start the "D:\Emulators\Programs\freedo\freedo.exe" and go into
the "Config\VDL" menu and set the Extrapolation option to active.
This allows 3DO games to display properly on my TV.
