I'll tell you where... sold the house, bought another 1 hour away in Toronto, packed, moved, unpacked, and discovered that the only games that could fit down the stairs to the basement were 3 cabarets. Everything else is too big. Even the MAME which is a converted Frogger style (not as big as a typical cabinet) won't fit. My game-room plans are now screwed, and I have no dining area as that is where the uprights are for the moment.
I've kind of enjoyed this sabbatical from the internet and my pointless forum visits, so ... don't expect to see me too active anymore.
Ciao!

You bought a house without measuring to make sure the cabs would fit? :o
-
I just so happen to know this guy who is local ... except that he doesn't have any space ... :-\

I'm not that big a nerd that I would let that stop me. Not in a buyer's market, in Toronto. The house is the better investment. ;)

The other point is probably that you didn't move by choice? or ?

Does it help if you remove the door frame?
Hope you get it sorted.

There is so much wrong with this sentence that I'll attribute it to Wife-Speak. ;)
Good luck in the new place (and making the door bigger)!

1) Dissemble cabs
2) Cart downstairs
3) Reassemble
4) Profit!
-
Might be easier to disassemble walls!

I'm sorry to hear that. Been down that road a few times.
However, now you have ever reason to tear the hell out of the house to keep your hobby.
Won't have to hurry to fix it either.

Sounds like you don't have a problem then. Games are fine where they are. ;D

Yeah, it's just that I was gonna be "grown up" and keep a proper dining and living room. Ya know, so as not to immediately turn off the chicks when they come over. ;)

I think the chicks should be turn on quickly once they see your cool Living Room full of Arcades, and Table is full of beers ;)
Who knows, after trying all the games played with a joystick, they/she might prefer the best Joystick to play >:D

There was a guy who built a car in his basement. Where there's a will, there's a way.

Been through two myself, and several live-ins. Always kept the projects. I once brought a young lady home and had an engine broken down in the living room floor re-building it, she was like WTF :o but it was winter and the house is so warm...lol I just always made sure I had at least one room in the house that was mine!

Course, after reading my last statement mabey thats why its still just me and my projects. :dunno
