Title: compiling mame plus
Post by: speedklz on December 03, 2009, 10:44:21 pm: I have been trying to compile mame plus with no luck. I kkep getting this
mingw32-make: *** No rule to make target `src/emu/font/uismall.png', needed by `
obj/windows/mamep/emu/uismall11.bdc'. Stop.

any ideas?
I use the hi_score, no_nag patch then I copy mameplus source over mame source and compile but it always stops here.

Sounds like that file is missing, or not properly included in the makefile. (Never tried compiling plus, thoough.) Did you apply all the diffs & new files for plus? You might want to try starting from scratch again in a new folder just to be sure. Or wait for someone who has compiled plus before. ;)

Post by: speedklz on December 04, 2009, 02:37:51 pm: Well I found that file missing so I copied it from mame source back to folder and tried again with same results.. I dont quite know what it is saying. I thought it ment file was missing but I guess not.

I ask because mame 0.135 has that uismall11.png file in the src\emu\ folder. There is no obj/windows/mamep/emu/uismall11.bdc file, and the only uismall mentioned in source and makefiles is uismall11.fh.

Post by: speedklz on December 04, 2009, 10:32:23 pm: problem solved thanks to some help over at Mameworld. There is a fonts file that has to be downloaded seperatly for mame plus compile.
