Wouldn't it make more sense to take the batteries OUT before you freeze the thing, and put them in right afterwards? Cold batteries give less power....

Yeah. Plus, the deck is now exposed to the beam. Double doh - plus earning 'tard status' in his scramble to get the pan on it.

Because the LASER isn't the danger. It's the piece of paper on fire that is the danger.

Plus he probably doesn't want little black circles on his deck.
