Title: Alternative to Sambers Hantarex POLO 28 STAR [EUROPE]

Hi There,

I turned my cab on this morning, and the monitor doesn't receive any power.... i can hear a slight clicking sound from the board attached to the tube, i've had a few problems with this one anyway (problems (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=97440.msg1028080#msg1028080)), so I think its time to get rid!!

The cabinet takes a 29" screen, but I believe this one is 28"... my friend recently installed a tri-sync one into his, and the quality looks amazing...

Can anybody recommend a suitable replacement? I hear the kortek ones are good.... im in europe (uk), so whoever will deliver to there...

useless info... i use 640x480 interlaced @ 15khz (i dont know if this helps, im a software guy- not hardware, so its all a bit alien to me)

difficult to find a tri sync that gives perfect geometry at 15khz,in europe the only one i know that is available is the sanwa pfx otherwise you can find wei ya or rodotron
sega had a few sanwa pfx left last week and i am told more are coming in,giz10p.co.uk have rodotron monitors in stock

the nanao ms9-29 give an amazing quality pic,they are only dual sync though(15/24khz)

if i'm only using it for 15khz, that wouldn't be a problem would it??

the one i already have is 15/25khz right?

normally the polostar are tri sync although i have seen 31khz star chassis,polo 2 are auto sync dual
the nanao will look very good with 15khz-just make sure you get one with no screen burn and insist on the seller powering it up with a grid test pattern and showing you the photos
