Not sure if this is the right place to post this but after several years I am going to build a cabinet finally and have a few (hopefully simple) questions and was hoping for some help.
1. Is it easy to switch the super 8 joystick toggle from 4 to 8 way once all is mounted? Have not been able to see actuator diagrams with details... AND is this the recommended solution? ...or is it just not worth the effort and I should just go with an 8-way?
My other option is several control panels with a center mount single 4-way on one. The above is good for WOW sort of games... I would prefer if the super joystick could do it but am looking for recommendations from experience and am wondering if people who 'made do' with the 2 player setup for joysticks that toggle from 8 to 4 way are happy on games like Donkey Kong, Pac-Man, etc. If there is another joystick recommended out there please let me know too -- all I know is what I read from about 20 sites where 90% recommend Happs 4/8 supers.
If I do make several control panels one would be for a game called "Cheyenne" http://www.klov.com/C/Cheyenne.html
which uses an optical gun. I would not want to attempt this with a gun that does not feel somewhat like the original -- any suggestions for suppliers for this sort of gun mount?

Not easy. And not that good of a 4 way sitck in 4 way mode anyway.
