Title: What scanners are suitable for side-art scanning ?
Post by: Level42 on November 20, 2009, 04:41:15 pm
Hope this becomes a sticky.

Since my Canon scanner has two nasty bumps at the lid hinges, I can't use it for proper side-art scanning.  I would like to "grow" a list here of scanners that +are+ suitable for the job.

What scanners are suitable to put completely flat on a cab's site and have you had success with ?
Make, model, interface, supported OSes please.

I think a thin scanner where the lid can come off for doing multiple pics of side are will work.
Cannon used to have one.

I think HP also had one but not sure if the lid came off.
