How do I connect a Happ 3" trackball to a MiniPac? I was thinking that the harnesses on each would connect, but that doesn't look like it will work. I assume that I need to cut the harnesses off and connect the right wires together. I see the wiring diagram for the MiniPac, but I can't seem to find what each wire out of the trackball is...
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks! That helps tremendously. So, instead of soldering the wires together, can I get male disconnects for the trackball ends, female disconnects for the minipac ends and then just connect them together that way?

Sure you could do that (ensuring no bare connectors are free to bounce into each other).
Seems soldering would be easier.
Better yet, why not crimp a 6-pin female connector to the minipac wires to mate up with the trackball harness?

That's a much better idea! :applaud:
Would a Home Depot / Radio Shack have that type of connector, or do I need to get it online some place. Google didn't seem to come up with much.

Rat shack may have it.
Digikey or Mouser would.
SirPeale may have it - see B/S/T for his online store.

I got mine from the shack for the same purpose.
