Actually there are some recent (September 09) comments from people that have bought new ones.  Interesting.

I'm sure they do.  I don't think that these are any different than old Dreamcasts.  Something tells me it's not a product Sega is still investing much money in.

Why buy new?  DC's can be had on the cheap.  I actually got two for free off my local freecycle.

Collectors like shiny boxed stuff.  Other than that the DC was a pretty robust console - get a used one for $10.  Get three of them and still come out ahead.

Yeah, these will be new (as in new old stock) not newly manufactured. So whatever specs they had before, that's what they'll have now...
