Title: Its locked and I don't have a key
Post by: dieseldogpi on November 17, 2009, 03:14:23 pm
Curious what the best way to get past one of the cylinder locks on an arcade.  I picked up an old Neo Geo cab, but the guy didn't not have any keys.  Will drilling it out work?  Thanks.

Holy ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- that guy goes in to drilling that lock WAY too deep.  Just drill the bastard... it will come loose.

Pick up a lock pick set on internet. Best investment you will ever make. Easy to use and quick to unlock these old locks, I do most of them in under a min. Plenty of vids to teach you on youtube.

I just drilled it out, took two seconds.  Once the bit was in about 1/4", the lock spun and it was done.  Cake.
