Title: Recommend a good jukebox program for touch project?
Post by: Turnarcades on November 16, 2009, 09:48:33 pm
OK probably a simple one this, though can't quite work out which will work best from the Wiki pages.

I'm working on a seperate touch-screen project and need a jukebox that will work well for my needs. I love the simplicity of WinCab and the fact it is so easily skinnable for using with touchscreens, but unfortunately it doesn't support video. I need a jukebox program that ticks all these boxes;

Like I say, WinCab simplicity is what I'm aiming for (with just a simple playlist display, simple touch layouts and basic volume control) but with video support. I've begged in the past but it looks like video will never be added.  :'( I really want it single-based as my music tastes are so random and my collection is comprised of one or two tracks from certain artists.

I too have a lot of music that is comprised of only one or two tracks per album, but I really like using freebox jukebox. But after I had it all setup I really liked it.  Easy to use and update when adding new songs.  I have only used this program for the last couple of months.  It did take awhile to properly tag and sort the music, but in the long run I'm extremly happy with it.
