I have several Midway joystick bases without sticks.
Is it plausible to create a Satan's Hollow joystick assembly out of one of these?
If so, what parts would I need besides the plastic handles?
Are the grommets available anywhere?
Thanks.

You know what, I *think* I may have one somewhere -- I remember buying one that had a Tron handle on it way back before RandyT's wonderful repros. It's a bulky ---smurfette---, but you can have it for the cost of shipping (from Canada, so may be expensive), assuming that my memory hasn't totally failed and I can find it.

Thanks. If you find it let me know how much shipping is, and also if you can take a pic, please do.
Thanks.

This is the first time that I have really looked at it, but in the second picture you can see that there is a piece missing on the leaf switch on the right side of the pic, so you'll have to put something in there so that the stick makes contact.
You can have the CP as well if you want.
It'll probably take me a few days to get to the post office to check the shipping price.

Oh crap ... sorry ... I'll try to get out this week to the post office.

OK .. looks like it will be a shade under $20 to ship.
If that is OK, drop me a PM with your address and I will send it out.

I'm still in the market for a Satan's Hollow joystick if anyone has a lead on one.
Thanks.

What happened to the one above that Cheffo had for you?

It seems to have lost its way in transit ... it's been over a month and it hasn't arrived.

I'm beginning to believe that there is a "black hole" between my location and Canada.(At least as far as the Post Office is concerned).
I once sent a Ms.Pac-man PCB to someone in Canada and when it finally arrived, the box had been opened and the daughterboard was missing.

I was stupid ... I should have had my parents (who came up for a visit!) take it back and mail it from CT after the holidays. Or I should have had it shipped with tracking instead of doing the convenient thing and having it sent from the mail room.
Dumb, dumb, dumb.
