Title: Dimensions of Sanwa 30 buttons?
Post by: ratabase1 on November 10, 2009, 08:40:44 pm
Does anyone have any experience with the Sanwa 30 buttons?  I would like to know the length of the button to the end of the switch for starters.  I need to see if they will fit in my metal control panels that I'm using on a Galaxian cocktail table, which don't allow enough space for the Happ style buttons, as they hit the bottom wood.

Also how big of a hole do these need?  I've read that these are 30mm, but is that the the top part that is exposed on the top part of the control panel, or is that the shaft of the button that fits through the control panel hole?

These are the dimensions of the OBSF-30 (clip in style)

The dimensions are from arcadeshop.de. For some reason they don't seem to have a drawing of the OSBN-30 (nut style) but it does give the following information:

Quote
Mounting diameter: 30 mm (1.181 inch), overall diameter: 33.2 mm (1.307 inch), installation depth: ca. 35.5 mm (1.398 inch), breadth of the microswitch terminals: 2.8 mm (0.110 inch). Can be mounted in material with a thickness up to 7 mm (0.276 inch).

Hope that is of some help.
