Title: Sega Cabinet ID
Post by: 97thruhiker on November 10, 2009, 05:44:08 pm
I'm looking to identify a Sega Cabinet I saw this weekend at Chuck E Cheese.  I'm looking for the model type or identifier to see if I can find some plans for it.  The game in the cab was Metal Slug and it looked a little like a showcase cab.  The monitor was a flat screen (looked to be a 26 to 30 inch in size).  I'm sorry this is all I have to go by at this point just looking for some key words I could throw into google.

Can't help you. Metal Slug is a Neo Geo game, and if you're calling it a Sega cabinet, then it must have been something else at some point.

There is also the [Naomi 50" (http://hard--candy.com/index.asp?page=Naomi+50+Inch)] which is the Deluxe Universal with a 50 Inch Sega projection monitor.

I wish I had a camera with me to take a picture.  While Metal Slug is indeed a Neo Geo game the cabinet was Sega (Sega manufacturer sticker on the back).  I'm sorry that I can't give anymore info on the cabinet.  I'm gonna surf the cabinet pictures over on KLOV, maybe I'll get a hit.  If I find it I will update.
