Hello all,
I'm having trouble perfecting the image with my 825HR4 Wei-ya replacement chassis, I had a Wells Gardnes 25K7000 series monitor which had a bad chassis so I bought this chassis to make use of the nice tube I've had laying around the last 2 years. Unfortunately the game I'm trying to hook up (Demolition Derby 4 Player Cocktail/Island edition) is having sync problems.
The original chassis in this cabinet used separate horizontal and vertical syncs, a ground, R,B,G, but this Wei-ya Chassis only has 5 pins, R,B,G,Gnd,Sync, in some trial and error hookup I was able to get both a sync'd horizonal and vertical picture but the bottom of the screen has a white bar. obviously if I don't hookup the vertical sync I can't stabilize the image vertically.
Is there some place on the chassis board I can directly tap in with my vertical and horizontal sync to get around just having the 5 pin connector which apparently is not enough ???
Also, anyone know a test point for the +B adj so I can test what this has been set two, I fear I may have turned this in my troubleshooting and want to make sure I don't get hit with x-rays lol
Thanks
Dave

Any body?
I mean what do most people do when they are faced with a 5 pin connector and have 2 hookup the syncs? are there other options?
thanks

Generaly if you have two sync wires connect them both to the single sync pin you have.
