Title: looking for old onetouch touch screen drivers
Post by: tjk176 on October 29, 2009, 03:22:31 pm
I got my hands on 3 15"CRT monitors that have a touch screen overlay added on.  I got these essentially from the trash so I don't have any info for them.  I'd like to make a jukebox project out of them.  Problem is I can't find any drivers.  The only identifying mark I can find on them is a "OneTouch" logo.  I found this companies website http://www.onetouch.com.tw/index.html (http://www.onetouch.com.tw/index.html) and it looks like I might be on the right track but I never got a response from them when I tried to contact them and the drivers they offer for download don't seem to work.  The touchscreen has a serial connection.  I haven't had much experience with serial devices.  I'm looking for windows drivers, but am not against linux, I just don't have any experience compiling.  Any help you can give is appreciated.  Thanks

Yeah the ones from the website are designed for usb controllers only, your best bet is to see if any body sells this product on ebay and ask for drivers or buy a replacment overlay
