But my experience in the electronics department is VERY limited. So my question is which wire is the common ?
This for the trigger (Marked T1 and T2 on the picture)
And the 2 buttons A and B ( Marked A1, A2 and B1,B2)

I don't know, but here's the USB spec.

It depends on which way the connector attaches. It's either A1 or B2. My guess based on the board is B2.

I haven't been inside my original GunCons. Are these going to connectors for wire harnesses? IOW, what's on the other side of the board?
If it's wires, you just need to isolate the two wires per switch and skip the original board altogether.

I do video game room setups for anime cons and stuff using just consoles and accessories. Sorta like an mobile arcade but assembled with old TVs and consoles. Naturally, any light gun that gets 14hrs of non-stop use will eventually suffer from failure. I have a Guncon 1 with a damaged composite video adaptor that's broken inside the undisassemblable PS1 plug, and another with a faulty trigger.
Would any of you guys who are getting Guncons for Aimtrak's be interested in donating me your guts so I can do repairs?

Back to my problem.
I dont know if I was precise in my question, so I'll try once more differently.
My question is, when I want to wire the trigger using the one allready installed in Guncon1, which wire should go where.
Here is a picture of the new PCB from the aimtrack

and here is a picture og the trigger button from the Guncon1

So should T1 be connected to "com" or "trigger"?
And the same goes for button A and B Only a picture of the PCB from button A but B looks the same on the other side.

The answer here is to disregard the GunCon board entirely. In this particular instance, the "common" is where you decide it should be. These are simple SPST switches, which means the action is nothing more than bridging those wires you see coming from the boards.
Tie one side of each of them together and that's your common.

TY very much for your quick reply :)
IT WORKS ;)
I'll put up some pictures later.

My mistake. I thought you were looking at the bottom of an AimTrak board. Obviosly, the giant NAMCO logo should have clued me in that I was looking at your question wrong. :banghead:

How about them pictures? ;)
I'm going to install the Aimtrak in a guncon myself.
Well that is when my guncons arrive.
So any detail will help!

Sorry, havn't had time for the pictures.
Can only say it was pretty easy, and my knowledge about this is pretty low. There is plenty of space inside the gun for the wiring and the camera.
